Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Nivora mobile application, getnivora.app, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
Reflection and entertainment only
Nivora provides tarot readings for entertainment, personal reflection, and creative insight. Readings are interpretive content, are not factual predictions, and do not guarantee any outcome.
Nivora is not medical, mental-health, legal, financial, employment, relationship, safety, emergency, or other professional advice. Do not use a reading as the basis for decisions where health, money, legal rights, safety, or another person's welfare may be affected. Consult an appropriate qualified professional. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services or another appropriate source of immediate help.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Nivora. If you are not yet legally an adult, use Nivora only with permission from a parent or legal guardian where applicable law requires it. Nivora is not directed to children under 13.
Accounts
You may use a guest account or sign in through a supported provider such as Apple or Google. You are responsible for maintaining control of your device and sign-in credentials and for activity under your account. Give us accurate information when contacting support and notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
Guest access may depend on information stored on your device. If you delete the app, lose the device, clear app storage, or lose your session, you may lose access to an unlinked guest account and its history. Linking a supported social account may allow access across supported devices.
Account deletion
You can delete your account from Profile in the app. Account deletion is intended to be permanent and removes associated reading history and other active account data. It cannot be undone. Deleting the app alone does not delete the account. See Account Deletion for more information and the external support path.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Services unlawfully or to harm, threaten, harass, exploit, or deceive another person.
- Interfere with the Services, bypass access controls or rate limits, introduce malicious code, or attempt unauthorized access.
- Scrape, copy, extract, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit the Services or their content except where applicable law expressly permits it.
- Misrepresent Nivora readings as professional advice or guaranteed predictions.
- Use automated means that place an unreasonable load on the Services.
Content and intellectual property
The Services, including software, branding, visual design, tarot artwork, card descriptions, readings, and other content, are owned by Nivora or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services and view content for your own non-commercial use while you comply with these Terms.
Third-party services
Some features rely on third parties, including Apple, Google, Firebase, infrastructure providers, and content-generation providers. Their terms and policies may also apply to your use of their services. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
Service availability and changes
We may update, suspend, limit, or discontinue features to maintain, secure, or improve the Services. We do not promise that every feature or reading will always be available, error-free, or preserved indefinitely.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, reliability, availability, or suitability of readings or other content. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Nivora will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, opportunities, or goodwill arising from your use of or inability to use the Services. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
Suspension and termination
We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address unlawful use, abuse, security risks, or material violations of these Terms. You may stop using Nivora at any time and may delete your account.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the Services or legal requirements change. We will post the revised Terms here and update the effective date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide additional notice where required by law. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept them, to the extent permitted by law.
